UIT Service Desk

Your starting point for tech assistance.

 

103 public computers (all PCs, no Macs)

  • Locations: 61 on the first floor, 24 on the 2nd floor, 9 on the 3rd floor, 7 on the 4th floor, and 2 in the basement.
  • Log in using MSU provided Net ID and password OR our guest login (listed on cards attached to the PCs).

Printers

  • Public Printers: There are self-serve black and white printers on all five floors. There is one self-serve color printer on the 1st floor. All self-serve printing must be paid for using a CatCard (MSU ID card) or a copy card (available for purchase at the Service Desk.)
    • Pricing:

      • Black & White: $.05/side
      • Color: $.50/side
  • Printers at the Service Desk: There is one black and white printer and one color printer at the Service Desk. Patrons may retrieve prints at the Service Desk and pay using cash, check, or credit card ($5.00 minimum).
    • Pricing:

      • Black & White: $.05/side
      • Color: $.50/side

2 KIC scanning stations

  • Scans up to 18 x 18 inches
  • Best for quick scanning
  • Options to print, email, or save to a flash drive
  • Location: 1st floor stairwell

5 flatbed form feed scanners

  • Scans up to 11 x 17 inches
  • Best for high-quality and color scanning
  • Options to print ($.05/side), email, or save to a flash drive
  • Location: One on every floor

1 copier

  • Copies up to 11 x 17 inches
  • Pay with cash or CatCard ($.10/side)
  • Location: 1st floor
