Our Vision for the Future:
The Library is dedicated to listening to our students and campus community, learning what the needs are and how we can adapt to meet them. Mission and Strategic Priorities
The Library’s services, collections, and expertise are indispensable to the Montana State University community. In an increasingly digital and global landscape, the library is uniquely situated to prepare students to effectively use and produce knowledge. Our expertise, advocacy, and partnerships enhance the University’s engagement and goals as a land grant institution and vital member of its community. The MSU Library provides credible information resources; offers help and instruction on how to use them; and creates spaces for learning, community and belonging.
The Library has set four Strategic Priorities for 2024-2026. These Priorities support the University's Mission and Strategic Plan. Each department within the Library is committed to setting and completing goals within these priorities.
