You Asked We Listened
Whether it's on a whiteboard, post-it, online, or through one of our user surveys, we are continually collecting student feedback and making changes. You help us to create a happier, more welcome library experience for everyone. Thank you for talking to us. Keep it up.
In the past year, the Library heard our students' voices. Here are a few highlights.
You Asked. We Listened!
- More study rooms! We've replaced 5 study rooms on 3rd for 9 study rooms on 2nd (Sept. 2023).
- More electrical access! We added more electrical outlets on 2nd and 4th in the study areas (Aug. 2023). More to come.
- More Plants! The Library ordered more plants for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. They are coming soon!
- Vending Machines. Done! New vending machines were installed in the basement (May 2023).
- More Animals! Paws-to-Destress is one of your favorite activities. After a hiatus, we brought it back! Including more dates and times and new animals in 2022-23. This year, we are adding more animals and destress dates throughout the year including bunnies, ponies, llamas, and even reptiles! Read more on our Upcoming Events page.
- More seating and tables. As we finish up some summer projects, our next plan is to freshen up paint and get more tables and new furniture added. Expect to see upgrades throughout the year.
