The MSU Library Collections Access & Technical Services department obtains, maintains, and provides access to information resources.
Collection Access and Technical Services (CATS) plays a vital role in connecting and serving the MSU community by acquiring, managing, and providing access to valuable information resources. The department’s key functions include cataloging and metadata creation, physical processing and mending of materials, collection development, management of electronic resources, and offering interlibrary loan services. Through these efforts, CATS ensures that essential resources are accessible and well-maintained for our users.
