Whether it’s active/collaborative or quiet/contemplative, find your ideal study spot.

Collaborative Spaces (Basement, First, and Second Floors)

The basement, first floor, and second floor are our "active study" spaces, self-regulated study spaces for groups and individuals that support active learning, discussion, interaction, noise from conversation, technology, and equipment. Public computers are available on all levels with the majority on 1st floor & 2nd floor.

  • Accessible: Via the ramp or lift on the first floor (by the Brewed Awakening coffee shop), the public elevator, or the main public stairwell.
  • Furniture and amenities: Long study tables, high-top tables, individual cubicles, sled chairs and chairs on wheels, desktop computer stations, large comfy chairs, booths, walk stations, and more.

Quieter Spaces (Third and Fourth Floors)

The third and fourth floors are quieter, more contemplative spaces to work alone or around others and/or to relax. Please respect the quiet.

  • Accessible: Via the public elevator or the main public stairwell.
  • Furniture and amenities: Large and small cubicles, long tables suitable for multiple users, sled chairs and chairs on wheels,  large comfy chairs, and computer stations.

Reservable Spaces (First, Second, and Fourth Floors)

Some study spaces may be reserved by users with a campus NetID and password. Seven rooms are available on the first floor, nine rooms and seven tables on the second floor, and one room on the fourth floor. See our Reservable Study Rooms & Tables webpage for details.
