The Annex

Located adjacent to campus, the Library Annex holds most Government Documents and the majority of the print periodical collection. While the Annex is not open to the public, patrons can place hold requests on items shelved in the Annex, and Library employees will retrieve and route the items to MSU Library for pickup at the Service Desk.

Items in the Annex

Please note, the newest issues of select journals are kept in the MSU Library Browse Collection on the first floor of the Library before they are moved to the Annex. The best way to find the location of specific journal issues is to look in CatSearch and note the location.

The Library Annex houses government documents and most magazines and journals.

If you are looking for a specific article within an item that is housed in the Annex, you can request that our staff scan and electronically deliver the article to you by submitting a request through interlibrary loan.
