Digital Library Initiatives (DLI) offers technology support and services to library administration, faculty, and staff to support MSU students and faculty.


The department of Digital Library Initiatives is staffed by a group of computer software engineers, computer system analysts, system administrators, program managers, computer support specialists, application development and discovery services personel.

DLI works closely with other library departments to provide specific services. Examples include coding, databases, and hardware support. DLI staff also contributes to on-going efforts for accessibility compliance along federal guidelines.

DLI also supports the Acoustic Atlas, an online digital collection of sounds related to animals and places of the western US and especially Yellowstone Park.
