2023 Recipient Antonie Dvorakova

Antonie Dvorakova, a fellow at the Palacky University Olomouc in the Czech Republic, is the first international award recipient. She will work with the papers of Verne Dusenberry housed in Archives and Special Collections

Montana Modernists: The Rabbit Holes of Research with Michele Corriel

Friends helped underwrite the cost of an event with Michele Corriel. Dr. Corriel discussed her book, which is based on her doctoral research and draws heavily from the Bob and Gennie DeWeese Papers housed in Archives and Special Collections.

2022 Recipient Daniel T. Gresham

Daniel T. Gresham, professor in the Department of Humanities at St. Mary’s College in Kansas, will use the library's archive to explore materials examining the development and modernization of the beef industry.

Distinctive Collections Travel & Access Award

2021 Recipient Richard Maska

Friends of MSU Library helped fund the award in partnership with MSU LIbrary's Archives and Special Collections (ASC) and the Ivan Doig Center.

The annual award helps scholars facilitate research using collections held by ASC.  Richard is a Ph.D. student from New Mexico who used his time in Bozeman to  conduct research for his dissertation.
