About the Read & Publish Agreement

MSU Library has a ‘read and publish’ agreement with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). This agreement will allow current MSU users to have full read-access to all ACM content and publish their research openly in eligible publications.

Overview of Publishing Agreement

  • Open Access Article Allowance: Unlimited
  • Eligible Journals: See List
  • Author Eligibility: Montana State University corresponding authors
  • Article Processing Charges (APCs) are fully covered for eligible MSU authors

How to Apply for Funding

  1. To publish open access under this agreement, corresponding authors should select the "Gold Open Access" option from the Author Services Dashboard and choose MSU as their institution.
  2. An institutional email address is required.
  3. The library will be notified of the request for funding with no additional steps needed from the author.
