What is it? SciFinder Web (Register here) provides access to Chemical Abstracts Plus (CAPlus, bibliographic data, 1907-present), CAS Registry (chemical structures, names, properties), CASReact (single and multistep organic reactions), ChemList (regulated chemicals information), ChemCats (commercial availability of chemicals from major suppliers), and MEDLINE (Biomedical citations, 1950-present). It also has some earlier chemistry coverage including more than 133,000 pre-1907 journal records and more than 1,250 for U.S. patents issued from 1808-1859.
First Time Users: You must register first. To register, you must be a current MSU faculty, staff, or student, and you must use a montana.edu email address.
Why use it? Most comprehensive coverage of the chemical literature including articles, patents, reactions, and structures.
Coverage: 1907-Present
Access: Available on networked computers on the MSU campus in Bozeman and via the proxy server. Maximum of one simultaneous user with a seven minute time out. Please log out when finished.
