Interlibrary Loan Request
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service offered by the MSU Library that can be used to borrow library materials (books, DVDs, etc.) and obtain electronic copies of articles or book chapters not owned by the MSU Library. When we borrow items from other libraries on your behalf, we are the borrowing library and the library that loans us their materials is the lending library.
It is the responsibility of the borrowing library for the careful use and prompt return of materials.
Current MSU students, staff, faculty, emeritus faculty, and affiliate users are allowed to request items through ILLiad & CatSearch from other TRAILS libraries.
For eligible MSU users
If you use Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, or any such email providers for MSU services and communication, please be sure to add BozemanILL@montana.edu to your safe sender lists and add us as a contact. Thanks!
