ICPSR: Political & Social Science Research
What is it? The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) maintains and provides access to an archive of social science data sets which can be used for research and instruction. The data holdings cover a broad range of disciplines, including criminal justice, demography, economics, education, foreign policy, gerontology, history, law, political science, public health, and sociology. Resources are obtained from government, academic, and private organizations.

Access: Available on networked computers on the MSU campus in Bozeman and via the proxy server. Users must create a MyData account the first time the service is used (and can use a Google or Facebook account to log in). This account is necessary for downloads.
