What is it? The first step in great readers' advisory is a great collection.
Core Collections are guides that help librarians build and maintain well-rounded collections of highly recommended reference, nonfiction and fiction books. All titles in Core Collections are chosen with guidance from review sources by librarians with expertise in their fields. Recommendation levels help prioritize books for purchase. Articles and reviews help understand why a title might be appropriate to add to a collection.
