What is it? EconLit provides indexing and abstracts of the worldwide literature on economics. It covers 685 major economics journals. Additionally, it indexes 600 collective volumes (essays, proceedings, etc.), 2,000 books, 900 dissertations, 2,000 working papers, and book reviews each year. The database is produced by the American Economic Association and encompasses the bibliographic sections of both the Journal of Economic Literature and the Index of Economic Articles, as well as the Cambridge University Press journal, Abstracts of Working Papers in Economics; updated monthly.
