
Kanopy Streaming Media

What is it? Kanopy is a streaming media service with a collection of over 26,000 films. Producers include Criterion Collection, The Great Courses, New Day Films, California Newsreel, Kino Lorber, PBS, First Run Features, Media Education Foundation, and Documentary Educational Resources to name a few. Films touch on a variety of topics and genres from documentaries to movies and training videos. Users can take advantage of features, including a clip/playlist creation tool, closed captioning and transcripts. Montana State University subscribes to three collections including, education, psychology, and nursing.
