What is it? MLA International Bibliography covers literature, modern languages, linguistics, and folklore. It includes journal articles, series, monographs, dissertations, bibliographies, and proceedings. It annually indexes over 50,000 books and articles.

Dates of Coverage: The online MLA includes all the content from the 1926 print version. In general, this means coverage of roughly 1925-present. In addition, with the inclusion of indexing for articles in the JSTOR language and literature collection, some records go back as far as the 1884 issues of Transactions of the Modern Language Association of America. 10 updates per year.

Please note, beginning in January 2019, MLA International will only be available via the EBSCOhost platform.
