Request Articles, Books, and More!
Interlibrary Loan (ILL for short) is a service offered by the MSU Library that can
be used to borrow library materials (books, DVDs, etc.) or obtain electronic copies
of articles or book chapters currently not available from the MSU Library from other
libraries. MSU Library provides interlibrary loan services by agreeing to borrow from and loan
items to other libraries throughout the world.As a current MSU student, staff, or faculty member, these services are available for
you to use, usually at no charge (visit our FAQ section for exceptions).
Instant ILL for Articles
InstantILL will instantly deliver the article you're looking for by searching articles
that the MSU Library has access to and open access databases.
Please note, this service only finds articles. To request books or other items, use Request It!.
Request materials from other libraries using Interlibrary Loan (ILL) or request scans
of articles or chapters owned by the MSU Library.
