  • Data Visualization in R - Fall 2020

The ability to create meaningful and attractive data visualizations is an essential skill of data-intensive research. This workshop will give you an overview of the grammar of graphics plotting concepts from the ggplot2 package. These concepts will be presented in an interactive format, integrating computational practice throughout the workshop. The workshop was originally taught on September 24, 2020 by Mark Greenwood, Greta Linse, and Sara Mannheimer. The content is based on The Carpentries (https://carpentries.org) and work by Allison Theobold. You can follow along with the video using this online tutorial: https://greenwood-stat.shinyapps.io/Data_viz_tutorial/ Materials for workshop can be downloaded via the MSU Data Science webpage (http://www.montana.edu/datascience/training), or by using this direct download link: http://www.montana.edu/datascience/training/DataVizR_Materials_Fall2020.zip
