LibQUAL+: Library Survey on Quality of Library Services
The Montana State University Libraries are using LibQUAL+, a survey instrument developed by the Association of Research Libraries (ARL), to measure library users' perceptions of the quality of services and to identify important areas of improvement for our patrons.
Attention: The results from the survey are now available!Basic Information about the LibQUAL+ Survey:
- The Web-based survey will run at MSU from March 4 through April 3, 2008.
- The survey will consist of a random sample of MSU:
- Undergraduate students: 1500
- Graduate students: 600
- Faculty: 600
- Staff: 600
- All Libraries' Faculty and Staff

Q: How will those selected to participate in the survey be notified?
A: Participants will be sent an email message to their MSU MyPortal address alerting them of their selection and the website to use to fill out the survey. The Office of Planning and Analysis has provided a random sample of email addresses. Please check your MyPortal inbox to see if you have been selected to participate.
