However, there are select resources that require a login, even from on campus, and they are specified with a lock-icon on the A-Z Database page.

Current MSU Bozeman Faculty, Staff, & Students
MSU Bozeman staff, faculty, and students enrolled in the current term have access to MSU Library electronic resources. They will use their NetID credentials when prompted to log in to the Library.
- Students who have received an "Incomplete" grade are eligible for access, however they will need to contact the Library to have their access turned on.
- If you are a new MSU faculty, professional, or staff, you may not be in Banner until after your first paycheck so you won't be able to login to the Library. If you need immediate access, contact the Library to have your access turned on.
Emeritus Faculty
Emeritus faculty will retain their privileges to access MSU Library online resources remotely. However, they will need to submit a request for approval of a nonemployee appointment to obtain access. To ensure uninterrupted access to Library resources, this appointment must be renewed yearly. Approved appointments will have off campus access to all of the Library's online resources. It is important to note that anyone not appointed in accordance with this policy, will not be granted access to the Library's resources.
Affiliate/Courtesy Faculty Appointments
Sometimes departments at MSU will grant appointments to non-MSU employees. In order for these types of affiliates to obtain access to the Library's electronic resources, a request for approval of a nonemployee appointment must be submitted and approved by the Provost.
