Request Articles, Books, and More!
Interlibrary Loan (ILL for short) is a service offered by the MSU Library that can be used to borrow library materials (books, DVDs, etc.) and obtain electronic copies of articles or book chapters not owned by our library. We are part of a worldwide ILL network of libraries that lends to one another. Through this, the MSU Library agrees to borrow from and loan items to other libraries in the ILL network. As a current MSU student, staff, or faculty member, these services are available for you to use, usually at no charge (visit our FAQ section for exceptions).
Request It!
Request materials from other libraries using Interlibrary Loan (ILL) or request scans of articles or chapters owned by the MSU Library.
For more information on using this service, please see our general interlibrary loan policies and FAQs.
