What is it? Dissertation Abstracts International is a bibliographic database of dissertations accepted at accredited institutions and theses from selected schools. Citations are available back to 1861 with abstracts for dissertations since 1980 and abstracts for theses since 1988. Also includes the UMI order number; updated monthly.
Why use it? Find dissertations and theses from across the U.S.

Access: Available on networked computers on the MSU campus in Bozeman and via the proxy server. Unlimited users.
Learn more: Access to full dissertations and theses from schools other than MSU are rarely available at MSU Libraries in Bozeman. Request the dissertation or theses via interlibrary loan or you can purchase copies directly from Dissertations Express (be sure to have the UMI order number).
