What is it? The Biography Resource Center provides full text biographies of both the living and the dead from all eras and regions. It is a combination of biographies from reference works and related full-text articles from hundreds of periodicals. It includes thousands of images along with links to selected web sites. Available searches include name, occupation, nationality, ethnicity, birth/death dates and places, gender, keyword, and full text. Contains biographies on over 340,000 people from throughout history, around the world, and across all disciplines and subject areas; more than 435,000 biographies from over 1,000 volumes of major biographical reference books plus more than 538,000 full-text articles from nearly 300 magazines; and more than 26,000 images.
