What is it? Auto Repair Reference Center is a full-text database of automotive repair information from Nichols Publishing. It contains information on most major manufacturers of domestic and imported vehicles, with repair information for Volkswagen back to 1954, Chevrolet and Ford back to 1962, and most others back to about 1967; updates vary. About 25,000 vehicles are covered along with 100,000 factory drawings and step-by-step photographs; 60,000 technical service bulletins and recalls issued by the original equipment vehicle manufacturer; wiring diagrams; specifications and maintenance schedules; and a labor time guide and estimator.
Why use it? Automobile repair information.

Access: Available on networked computers on the MSU campus in Bozeman and via the proxy server. Unlimited users.
