Connect to Wilson Biographies (In Library only)

What is it? Wilson Biographies is a full text database of the articles from various biographical reference books published by H. W. Wilson. Containing the full text of more than 100 print volumes, Wilson Biographies includes more than 30,000 biographies. It includes the more than 14,000 biographies and 8,000 obituaries from all of volumes of Current Biography Yearbook from 1940 to the present. It also includes the more than 11,000 biographies from World Authors which covers worldwide authors from 800 B.C. through 2003. Some biographies are enhanced with recent citations from H.W. Wilson's Biography Index and with citations and abstracts from H.W. Wilson's Humanities Abstracts and Book Review Digest. The biographies are searchable by name, profession (or genre in World Authors), title, place of origin, gender, race/ethnicity, titles of works, date of birth, date of death, and keyword. 2004 annual last update available at MSU.
