The Writing Center at the Library offers students an opportunity to work on their academic writing with an individual tutor, a trained student or professional whose ultimate aim is to help the writer with topics, general ideas, find supporting materials, develop details, organize, edit, and utilize computers.

MSU Testing Services Renne Library room 19 office is open for testing from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some evening testing hours are scheduled on a per appointment basis. Tests administered in this location include PearsonVUE certification exams and academic testing for MSU students with testing accommodations.

We know that students who utilize peer tutors are more likely to succeed academically, and we want to help you meet your academic goals. Tutors will help guide and facilitate the learning process, and will assist you in becoming a more independent learner and a successful college student!
Earn 700 ChampChange points for each session you attend. Currently, we offer tutoring of the following subjects in the Drop-In Center in the Library: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Spanish, Math, and Statistics.
Tutoring by appointment ($2/hour) is also available for over 300 courses throughout the curriculum. Purchase your $10 tutoring pass for 5 sessions online at www.MSUSmartyCats.com or in the Allen Yarnell Center for Student Success, SUB 177.
