Rest-Rotation Grazing Allotments Research Files

The research files include summaries and statistics of all rest-rotation grazing allotments visited or analyzed by Hormay, and geographically arranged record files containing information on individual allotments throughout the western United States ranging from fragmentary to comprehensive in scope and breadth from primarily the period 1965-1977. A component of this series includes rest-rotation grazing allotment statistics collected by Hormay in 1986. Another component of this series includes fragmentary and diverse photocopies and notes made and organized by Hormay on subjects related to rest-rotation grazing and rangeland management, probably in preparation for an unrealized book manuscript.
