Group Study Rooms
Renne Library has 5 rooms set aside for group study. All rooms are equipped with a PC and large screen monitor. Dry-erase boards are also provided. Group study rooms may be used only by groups of 2 or more registered MSU students. Reservations are encouraged. "Walk-in" use will be accommodated based upon availability. To check out a room key, the person making the reservation must present a valid MSU student ID to the Renne Library Circulation desk. Keys may not be checked out to third parties.
MSU Libraries reserves the right to deny requests or cancel reservations as it deems appropriate.
Rooms may be checked out for 2 hours. All checkouts begin at the top of the hour. The checkout may be extended until the next scheduled reservation. Rooms not occupied 15 minutes after the top of the hour will be made available to other students.
Group study room keys may not be removed from the building.
Keys should be returned immediately to the Circulation desk upon vacating the room. Please lock the room before returning the key.
Keys not returned promptly will result in a fine of $5.00 per hour or portion of an hour with a maximum fine of $50.00. If you lose a key, you will be charged for the replacement of the lock.
Report any damage immediately to the Circulation desk. If any damage is discovered after your use, you may be held responsible.
MSU Libraries assumes no responsibility for personal property left in the rooms. Any personal items found will be placed in the library's lost and found.
