Music and Audio Collection

The Music CD collection provides materials for the educational and recreational needs of the entire campus and community. It is a circulating collection, so that patrons may check out materials. The Music CD collection is located in two cabinets to the left as you enter AV/MRR, Renne 19, lower level. The library owns over 2,446 audio CDs, the bulk of which are music CDs.

AV Equiment Books on Tape Music CDs

The collection consists of both old and new music, classical and contemporary art music, traditional and world music, blues, jazz, popular, and rock. Individual listening stations with headphones are available for CDs in AV/MRR. The aim of our Music CD collection is to acquire a high-quality collection representing the richness of musical creativeness throughout the ages and throughout the world.

Music CDs, unless they are on reserve, have a catalog location of Micro/AV - MSU Bozeman in the online catalog. To find a Music CD, check our library catalog. If you need assistance, ask at the reference desk.

You can physically browse the collection by going to the resource center and looking through the drawers. There is also an Audio Books collection in AV/MRR located near the Music collection.
