How Text an MSU Librarian Works

Note: The system we use may take up to 5 minutes to get the message to us. Also, please let us know if you have a Web-enabled cell phone. If you do, we'll know that you should be able to see any links we send.
Availability
Text an MSU Librarian should be available any time that the reference desk is open or whenever chat reference is available. During Fall & Spring semesters, that is usually
- Mon-Thurs. 8:30 AM - 9PM
- Fri. 8:30 AM - 5PM
- Sun. 1 PM - 9PM
If you send us a text outside of those times, you may not get a response until the next day. If you do not get a response, please try the other Ask a Librarian services.
