Library Accounts and Passwords
- Library Password Info
- Information on library accounts and passwords. You can use your MSU NetID or set a library password
- Interlibrary Loan Request Form (Accepts NetID)
- Submit a request for an item that library does not have
- Renew Books (Accepts NetID)
- For renewing checked-out materials and reviewing items currently checked out. Needs library account password.
- Course Reserves (Accepts NetID)
- Find ereserves for specific course. Needs library account password for off-campus access.
MSU Accounts
- MSU Password Help
- Details on MSU accounts and passwords. Can reset and synchronize NetID, MyPortal, and MSU Domain passwords.
- MSU NetID (Username in a12b345 format)
- Use for all library services, student email, Desire2Learn, iClicker registration, McAfee download, and more. Reset password.
- MSU Domain (Username varies)
- Used for campus wireless, Z Drive network file sharing, faculty/staff email (Outlook), VPN, student lab computer login. Reset password
- MyInfo (Banner ID with initial minus sign - and initial PIN is birth date as 9 digits ddmonyyyy. PIN must have 8-15 characters, have at least one letter, one number, and can include a special character ($,*,%,@,#, &). Reset PIN.)
- Log into MyInfo to register for classes, look-up your MyMSU Portal user name, and to add additional contact email addresses
- Desire2Learn
- MSU course management system for readings, syllabi, and assignments.
- MyMSU Portal (Username usually first.lastname but check in MyInfo to be sure. Initial password is same as MyInfo password.)
- Log into MyPortal for MSU email and announcements. Reset password.
